Mercedes-Benz MLC is said to be the fifth model that the automaker is about to build at its plant in Alabama, by 2015. This car’s shape will be similar to a crossover with a coupe back end; this feature can also be found in BMW X6. The features and specifications of this car are all according to an image and Jalopnik’s picked up. The company’ CEO Dieter Zetsche has not divulged about the new car model’s detail.
Regardless of the unclear information on features and specifications of the Mercedes-Benz MLC, the car is clearly considered as one of 10 extra models. These models are scheduled to release over the next four years. This is the reason of why the model that the automaker is referring to will not be the existing GLK. Recent report stated that the MLC will be built on the same platform of the current new ML-Class.
The lines of 2015 Mercedes-Benz MLC are basically inspired by the CLS. The back does not have a lot of room, which implies that the automaker is focused on the design, instead of its off-road prowess and practicality. The automaker is reportedly to introduce an AMG version that uses the most advanced technologies. 2015 Mercedes-Benz MLC does come in fuel-efficient engines and diesel the car has making it has outputs that start at 265horsepower.
